Dakota Sixx is an unsigned electronic vocalist and songwriter originally haling from Birmingham. Since relocating to London almost two years ago, Dakota has immersed herself in to the heart of the underground scene; her presence being welcomed with open arms by a genre of music that Dakota describes as ‘more of a culture, a fashion, a lifestyle and then the music. The music just sews all of that together perfectly’.

Whilst studying music at Birmingham Ormiston Academy (the sister academy to BRIT school) Dakota was invited to perform alongside the likes of Pixie Lott, Little Mix & Conor Maynard. At this point, Dakota was still struggling to find her path, so instead began to support other artists by performing backing vocals. It was then, Dakota decided that the best place to find herself would be London.

Since uprooting to London to further study her craft, Dakota has received recognition from many notable figures after the label ‘The Sound Of Everything’ signed three of Dakota’s tracks. After releasing the Innocence E.P featuring Fish and Nuvaman, support has included Jamz Supernova (BBC), Nest HQ (Skrillex) and outstanding reviews from the likes of Mixmag and Complex Magazines. Dakota was also invited  to take part in an interview and perform her debut track ‘Innocence’ live on Reprezent Radio with Dan Alani whilst premiering her track ‘Come With Me’.

After the success of the Innocence E.P, Dakota is now working with many different artists and is looking forward to bringing you a lot of new music in the later half of 2017, featuring artists such as Isla Wolfe, Mikey B, Affiliate Sounds, Abeyance and plenty more!
