Orders & delivery

Is UK delivery free?

Yes, on orders of £50 and over, no code needed. Under £50 it's £4.45, tracked and signed for.

What does made to order mean?

Most of our pieces are made once you order them. We print or embroider yours in house, just for you. It means we don't overproduce, nothing gets binned at the end of a season and every piece goes to someone who actually wants it.

Each product page shows whether the size you've picked is in stock or made to order.

How long will my order take?

In-stock pieces are packed and sent out as soon as we can. Made-to-order pieces take 3 to 15 working days to make and send, depending on how busy we are. As soon as your order is on its way you'll get a tracking code by email or text.

What's the difference between made to order and pre-order?

Made to order is how we make most things, all year round: you order, we make it. Pre-order is for new drops. We open orders for a set window, then make everything in one run once it closes, so there's a fixed dispatch date.

Do you ship outside the UK?

Yes, we ship worldwide. International postage is worked out at checkout.

How do pre-orders work?

Pre-order pieces are made once the pre-order window closes, so we only make what's actually been ordered. The expected dispatch date is shown on each product page.

Mud collection pre-orders close on Saturday 31 October and will be sent out by Saturday 14 November. If we ever can't make the date we've given you, we'll get in touch and you can cancel for a full refund.

Why do you ask for my phone number or email at checkout?

Only so we can send you delivery updates. We just need one of them.

Returns & exchanges

Can I return something?

Yes. You've got 30 days from when it arrives to return it for a refund or an exchange. Items need to come back unworn and unwashed, in their original condition with the tags on.

How do I send a return?

Email us first at contact@minorformula.com with your order number and what you're sending back. We'll reply with the return address and how to send it (we usually use InPost).

Return postage is on you, unless the item is faulty or we've made a mistake, in which case we'll cover it.

When will I get my refund?

Once your return gets to us and we've checked it, we'll refund you to your original payment method, usually within 5 working days.

Can I return a pre-order?

Yes, same as anything else: 30 days from when you receive it.

My item arrived damaged or faulty. What now?

Sorry about that. Email us a few photos and a quick description and we'll send a replacement or give you a full refund, postage included.

Products & sizing

What are your clothes made from?

Most of our pieces are organic cotton, finished with our own embroidery and prints. Each product page tells you what that piece is made from.

How do your clothes fit?

A lot of our tees and hoods have a relaxed, oversized fit. If you like things a bit closer to the body, go a size down. Check the size guide on each product page and if you're still not sure, message us and we'll help you pick.

How should I wash my pieces?

To keep them looking good for longer: wash cool and inside out, skip the tumble dryer and iron on the reverse, never straight onto a print or embroidery.

My size is sold out. Will it come back?

Sometimes. Get in touch and tell us what you're after. We'll let you know if it's coming back or if we can sort something out.

Do you do custom orders?

Yes, for things like hoodies with big front and back embroidery. Email contact@minorformula.com with what you have in mind.

Do your prices include VAT?

We're not VAT registered, so there's no VAT added to our prices.
